Mission Statement

To ensure that every person that comes to the ministry, "together they will be like mighty men, trampling the muddy streets in battle. Because the Lord is with them, they will fight and overthrow the horseman."  Zechariah 10:5 (NIV)

The Vision

To teach and pass on empowerment to others that "no test or temptation that comes your way is beyond the course of what others have had to face." I Corinthians 10:13 (MSG)

Focus

Our focus is to lead the lost to Christ, with emphasis on those who have previously been incarcerated, the homeless and all those who society has rejected. "For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God." Romans 3:23 (KJV)

History

The fellowship began January of 2001 in the home of Prophetess Desmon Dobbins.  It was originally called "Fried Chicken Day."  At the conception there were about 10-15 women present, emphasizing fellowship as part of the vision.  Oftentimes, people will come to a home quicker than they will come to a church.  As we came together, sharing our testimonies, I began to understand more clearly that there is a way out, no matter what the circumstance.
